Sellers comment:
The XKE offered here for auction can be best described as an excellent driver. Presented in classic British Racing Green with a Tan interior and top the body is rust free. The tonneau cover is black and in excellent condition. The chrome and wire wheels are in excellent condition. The car is fitted with new Pirelli super touring P4000 205/70R15 tires. The interior is in excellent condition the carpets and upholstery are excellent. The car is equipped with a Kenwood KDC-216S CD player.
The car runs and drives beautifully. The 2 cylinder heads were sent to the machine shop to be fitted with unleaded gas guide valves. The radiator was recoiled and all the water hoses were changed. The points were replaced with an electronic ignition. The car has a new A/C compressor.
The convertible top is in good condition it has two small tears. The car was never driven with the top up. The paint is older but is still very nice and has a great shine. There are two small dings on the top of the hood and one small chip on the back right fender from a car door.
This is an excellent opportuninty to acquire one of the most beautiful cars ever built that will provide years of motoring pleasure.
Vehicle Condition
An excellent driver, runs and drives beautifully. This is not a show car but, an excellent driver.
