Sold by Manor Classic Cars of Sheriff Hutton in September 2025. Abbreviated seller's description below.
www.manorclassiccars.com/vehicles-for-sale/1973-jaguar-e-type-series-iii-roadste ...

A superbly presented and expertly engineered Series III V12 E Type Roadster which has brought many miles and countless memories to its owners since 2012, with many trips to Europe. Originally delivered to the United States in June 1973 finished in British Racing Green, as it is today, though the interior has been altered from Cinnamon to Suede Green which suits it today.

The gearbox is now a 5 speed manual by E Type Fabs rather than the original Borg Warner automatic. This impressive E Type has been resident on these shores since 1989 and in current ownership since 2012. The service history is impressive with considerable expenditure to ensure fault free ownership. The manual gearbox, comfortable cabin and effortless engine give miles of touring and adventure.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
