Seller's description:
1973 Jaguar E-Type SIII V12 Roadster
Chassis number UD1S22926
Location, Switzerland, Oldtimer Galerie Toffen
The roadster offered here, with left-hand drive and automatic transmission, was delivered to the USA and first registered in 1973. Several years ago, the Jaguar was probably imported to Switzerland from Atlanta. Once here, the sporty roadster was fitted with European bumpers and the unsightly side indicators were removed. After presumably three owners, the E-Type 2000 was taken over by a lady and only driven in good weather. The low driven mileage – since 2016, the convertible has covered just 5,000 miles (8,000 km) – and increasing lack of time have prompted the owner to part with her Jaguar. The timeless V12 is currently in good to very good condition, the engine runs smoothly, the gearbox shifts correctly, and the interior and bodywork are in good condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. The most recent veteran MOT was completed in October 2022, which means that the Jaguar can be registered immediately in most German-speaking cantons.
