  • Owner: Ronald Musselman

Retired chemistry professor, drove first E-Type during graduate school. Have had a 1997 XK-8 since it was new, bought this 1963 FHC (Series 1, 3.8 L) in 2000. Dismantled it, began restoration in 2000, 2001. Engine and rear end rebuilt by Terry Lippincott in Sinking Spring, PA. I'm resuming the restoration, now led by Paul Tsikuris in Kathleen, FL.

Update on restoration (7/10/26: Turns out that Paul was too busy to do the sheetmetal so I took it on. 1) learned to weld, 2) designed and built a rotisserie, 3) removed 11 panels (B posts, both sills, both rear fenders inner and outer) prepped for painting, did the insides and underneath; had the outer surface done by an excellent shop in Venice, FL. Current condition: bonnet complete, front suspension complete, engine in, water and vacuum lines complete, working on wiring now.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
