This highly original 1963 Jaguar E-Type Roadster is finished in its original Opalescent Gunmetal color combination with a Red interior and Black top & boot. A matching-numbers example with just three owners from new, the E-Type has always been garage-kept and carefully maintained by a longtime enthusiast owner who considered it a favorite among his collection.

The E-Type is now in the process of undergoing a comprehensive show-level rotisserie restoration by our team. The restoration will include complete mechanical disassembly, stripping the body to bare metal, detailed metal finishing and body fitting, refinishing in the car's original and highly desirable color combination, and the comprehensive restoration of all mechanical, cosmetic, electrical, hydraulic, and interior systems. The goal of the project is to create an exceptional stock example that faithfully preserves the character, appearance, and driving experience of the original E-Type while meeting our team's high standards for which our restorations are known.

Please note there remains an opportunity for the future owner to personalize the build with selected performance, comfort, and convenience upgrades. Whether incorporating subtle touring enhancements or additional driver-focused features, there is still time to tailor the restoration to your preferences - please inquire for additional details!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
