The car has the original block, but the head was changed to RA6640-9 sometime during its life. Lots of metal work is in progress to the tub. It is not a flat floor, and it does not have the driver seat cutout.

This left-hand drive example is a sound restoration project, finished in primer with black leather seats, its interior has instruments plus other parts (see pictures)
Fitted with its original 3.8-litre straight-six engine and 4-speed manual gearbox, the cylinder head has been replaced at some stage and now carries the number RA6640-9
Some bodywork and metal repairs were undertaken in the US before being purchased by our vendor in 2024, forming a solid basis for further restoration
Supplied with a collection of loose spares shown in the boot photographs, along with its Texas title and NOVA confirmation, ready for UK-registration
A worthwhile E-Type project retaining key original components, offering the opportunity to complete one of Jaguar’s most admired early sports cars to personal taste and standard
