Description:
1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster
Estimate £47,000 - £54,000
Registration: XLL 10
Chassis No: 1S1339BW
Odometer: 61,160
Genuine UK supplied right hand drive example
A low mileage and thoroughly useable E-Type
Cherished number included in the sale
Originally registered on 26th September 1972, this E-Type has formed part of a private collection and has been very well cared for. The white coachwork presents very well as does the black leather interior. The standard chrome wheels are well shod with Pirelli P4000 being the tyre of choice. The 5343cc V12 engine runs well and the automatic gearbox operates as it should. This E-Type benefitted from an engine overhaul prior to lockdown, including the fitment of a new timing chain, tensioners and associated work. The invoice totalled just over £15,000 with invoices and photographic documentation. A Series III E-Type is a delightful car to drive, with good ergonomics, a responsive engine and the styling of one of Coventry’s finest ever designs. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 24th June 2026 together with an extensive history file. We are informed the car is a sheer delight to drive and is faultless in every respect. An attractive purchase for a collector.
