This 1969 Jaguar XKE is a Series II roadster that was acquired by the current owner in the mid-2000s. The car is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It is finished in maroon over a black leather interior, and equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and air conditioning. This XKE is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Delaware title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in metallic maroon and is equipped with a black soft top. Additional features include sealed-beam open headlights, a louvered clamshell hood, dual side mirrors, and wraparound chrome bumpers. Flaws in the paintwork are visible.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with 205/70 Michelin Radial X tires. The tires have pre-2000 date codes and cracked sidewalls. The car is equipped with power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Appointments include a locking glovebox, a Philips AM/FM radio, and air conditioning.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm-redline tachometer, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was factory-rated at 246 horsepower.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
