Description from the seller
1969 Jaguar E-Type OTS (Open Two-Seater) in good mechanical and cosmetic condition. The car retains its Inline 6-cylinder, naturally aspirated 4.2-liter engine, producing 246 horsepower, and a factory 4-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is an older, professionally restored example that presents well and retains its classic appeal. The car has the period-correct wire wheels, black leather interior, and only 93749 indicated miles on the odometer. The vehicle has a current Danish registration and papers and passed the Danish Technical Inspection (MOT/TUV) in February 2025, confirming its excellent condition and roadworthiness.
The powerful 4.2-liter engine has undergone recent work under prior ownership, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. There is no smoke during startup or while driving. The manual transmission provides an authentic driving experience and shifts smoothly through the gears. No leaks observed from the engine and transmission during inspection and preparation for sale. The brakes, belts, clutch, and suspension are in good condition and free of issues.
The paint and body are in good condition. Panel gaps are uniform and consistent with factory specifications, indicating the panel is well preserved. We see no rust in the car or body. Rubber seals, windows, chrome, and lights are all in good condition. The softtop roof is in good condition.
The black leather interior is in good condition and consistent with age and mileage. Minimal wear on the seats and touchpoints, including the dashboard, door panels, and carpet, is visible as shown in the photos. Gauges, switches, and electrical systems are all in working order.
