This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II coupe was acquired by the seller in 1992 and was repainted and fitted with a replacement engine two years later. It is finished in British Racing Green over green leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, and a heater. The alternator and battery were replaced in 2024. This XKE coupe is now offered in Canada with a car cover and British Columbia registration in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in British Racing Green and was refurbished in 1994. Exterior equipment includes sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes rust under the left rear window and a crack in the paint on the front left side.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with Pirelli P4 tires measuring 205/70R. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The seller states that the brakes require service.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in green leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include an AM/FM radio, a locking glovebox, three-point seatbelts, and a heater. The heater blower motor was replaced in 2023. There is a crack in the dash.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The horn was replaced in 2023, though it blows a fuse.
The replacement 4.2-liter inline-six was installed in 1992 and is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. The alternator and battery were replaced in 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Corrosion is visible on the underside.
The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold on its British Columbia registration, which serves as the ownership document in British Columbia, Canada.
