Most E-Types went overseas, which explains why just 776 OTS cars like this Signal Red 1970 car were registered in RHD.
It is a great find for E-Type enthusiasts. The vendor describes it as highly original and tells us that there is “no rust whatsoever.” We’re told it is a matching numbers example - rare for a Series 2 car - and it has been with the current keeper since 1992. Following a period of limited use, it has been carefully recommissioned for sale.
The car is said to run and drive well with good oil pressure. It is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust. The Series 2 is the E-Type for those who like to use their Jaguar icons, and this very genuine example looks ready to enjoy.
The vendor says:
“This is absolutely very genuine honest car fresh came out to the market after 30+ years. Car is is good condition no known issues, except very minor age related marks here and there.”
