Photographic evidence of the restoration in the history file
This E-Type was restored some 20 years ago and still presents well today, a testament to the quality of the restoration that was carried out. The Carmen Red coachwork is complemented by contrasting black leather interior. The XK engine runs well, with good oil pressure and offers brisk performance. Photographic evidence of the restoration is in the history folder and we are advised £4,000 has recently been spent on this Jaguar ensuring it presents as well as possible. Described as driving with no known faults, this is a good honest example of a Series II E-Type Roadster. Today, E-Types remain highly sought-after collector’s car, admired not only for their speed but also for its timeless artistry and unmistakable British character.
