This 1967 Jaguar XKE is a Series I coupe that was acquired by its long-term previous owner in the mid-1970s and remained in their care for approximately 50 years. A multi-year restoration began in the 1990s and included a bare-metal repaint in Primrose Yellow, an interior re-trim in black leather, and a rebuild of the 4.2-liter inline-six. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, chrome 15″ wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a wood-rim steering wheel. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this XKE is now offered in Castle Rock, Colorado, with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate and a clean Colorado title.
The car is finished in Primrose Yellow. During the refurbishment that began in the 1990s, the body was media-blasted and repainted, and the glass and chrome trim were reportedly replaced. Features include sealed-beam open headlights, a louvered clamshell hood, wraparound chrome bumpers, a side-hinged rear hatch, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ chrome wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with 205/70 Kumho Solus KR21 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin was refurbished with replacement black leather upholstery, carpets, and door panels.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 3,500 miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was rebuilt during the refurbishment and features triple SU carburetors.
The cylinder head stamp 7E13802-9 matches the chassis tag and Heritage certificate.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a full-synchromesh four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists the original colors and drivetrain numbers.
