• Restoration Summary & Reason For Selling:
o This car was purchased after an approximate 10-year search by current owner for a complete, ground-up restoration. Owner performed a no-cost-spared restoration to his dream car with no intent to sell.
o Welding & specialty work was subcontracted to shops highly experienced in their respective trades.
o Owner's approach was to restore the car to JCNA concourse fit and finish standards, but install numerous updates that make the car much more drivable and reliable.
o During the restoration, JCNA established a new class for this type of drive/show restoration, S2/MODIFIED to which car was judged in June 2018. Score: 9.991/10.000.
o In May 2016, when the car was approximately 95% complete, Owner's best friend with whom numerous restorations have been performed over about 25 years died of cancer. Owner was able to take ownership of friend's all-original 1966 XKE roadster. Owner must very reluctantly sell this coupe to satisfy financing of his deceased friend's XKE roadster.

The car was carefully repainted in Old English White, and the interior was trimmed with light blue and gray leather upholstery. This series 1.5 example features enclosed headlights and brake lights that sit above the rear bumper. The car is also equipped with dual side mirrors, triple SU carburetors, and dash toggle switches. The five-digit odometer shows 65,355 miles, but it is not known if this is the actual mileage; therefore, the total mileage is unknown. The car was revealed to be in good condition inside and out, with only minor chips on the front hood. The inspection reports the wipers are not operational as well. The interior is in fine condition, with no splits in the dash and pristine upholstery. The undercarriage is in great condition and shows the quality of the restoration. The engine can be seen running in a video attached to the report. A tool kit and one set of keys are included in the sale.

This 1967 Jaguar XKE Series I coupe was manufactured on December 30, 1966, and was dispatched to New York the following month. The car was refurbished under prior ownership and was recently acquired out of a collection by the selling dealer. Powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, the coupe is finished in white over blue leather. Features include triple SU carburetors, enclosed headlights, 15″ wire-spoke wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, dual side mirrors, and a Blaupunkt push-button radio. The underside was cleaned using dry ice in preparation for the sale, and the fuel tank was removed and cleaned and the fuel filter, oil-pan gasket, sump filter, and battery were replaced. This XKE is now offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and a Florida title.
Series I E-Types were equipped with covered headlights and taillights mounted above the chrome rear bumpers. Finished from the factory in Opalescent Dark Green, this car has been repainted in white. Equipment includes enclosed headlights, a louvered clamshell hood, hood-mounted side mirrors, triple windshield wipers, a side-hinged rear hatch, bright trim, wraparound chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with Coker Classic red-line tires measuring 205/75. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in blue leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. Interior appointments include black vinyl dashboard trim, seatbelts, a Blaupunkt push-button radio, center-stack speakers, a passenger-side grab handle, and a heater.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are located at the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 10 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 4.2-liter inline-six features triple SU carburetors and was factory rated at 265 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque. The fuel tank was removed and cleaned in November 2025, and the fuel filter, oil-pan gasket, sump filter, and battery were replaced.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a full-synchromesh four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The underside was cleaned using a dry-ice treatment in preparation for the sale, according to the seller.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate shows the original colors and drivetrain numbers as well as build and dispatch dates in December 1966 and January 1967.
The Florida title notes “Other Jurisdiction Brands – PA-Classic – Over 20 Yrs Old”.
