car is for private sale:

Description:
I'm offering a Jaguar E Type Series 1 Coupe (not 2+2) from a collection that returned to Europe from the USA in the 1970s and has current EU registration documents.
Old 1970s registration documents and a Heritage Certificate are also included.
The Jaguar was converted early on as a semi-racer, with features including an improved chassis, three twin Weber carburetors, and a fan-assisted manifold.
A set of super rare and NEW Revolution 7x15 aluminum rims with Yokohama semi-slicks is also fitted.

The E Type runs and drives, starts immediately, but is not roadworthy. (Short test drive OK)
The braking system should be checked, as should the electrical system, especially the lights/indicators/brake lights at the front and rear.
However, many parts have been replaced in recent years.

- Complete bodywork. Sheet metal and no fiberglass parts
- New aluminum radiator (original is still present)
- New aluminum rims
- New battery
- Various new suspension and brake parts
- Completely intact glass
- Sports exhaust
- Original wooden steering wheel
- Original paint in the engine compartment/interior/trunk (Opalescent Light Blue)
- Weber carburetor system
- Race manifold
- Original papers and keys
- Bumpers (new front/used rear)

The body looks very good, and there is no visible rust damage.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
