This stunning Jaguar E Type is now available to purchase.
Our example has full matching numbers with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate showing chassis number 1E 20609, engine number 7E3776-9 and body number 4E 21583.
It has undergone a complete “nut-and-bolt” restoration, all detailed in many photographs.
Restoration works were carried out by noted Jaguar E-Type specialists, The Hutson Motor Company Ltd. The entire restoration took over twelve months and the finished vehicle is a wonderful example blending classic E-Type style with modern upgrades.
The body was stripped and repaired with new floors and outer sills. It had a new Jaguar Heritage bonnet assembly and engine frames. The body is finished in carbon black; chrome fixtures are all A1 and the underside is to the same high standard.
The new interior is beautifully finished in Light Grey leather, with a Heritage carpet set in Navy and rubber overmats and a period 15” steering wheel.
The 4. 2-litre engine with triple carbs, full synchro 4. 2 transmission and 3. 07 rear axle have been totally refurbished and rebuilt. The chassis was improved with electric power steering, Spax dampers, poly suspension bushes and upgraded brakes.
Although the MOT history shows 94, 314 miles at the MOT in July, it has not been reset following the rebuild. The car has completed only a handful of miles since restoration and is now fully run in and ready to be enjoyed.
A rare opportunity and big saving to jump the waiting list for a car from one of the UK’s most auspicious E Type specialists.
