Owned the vehicle since 1982. Still fun to drive. No major engine work other than tune-ups and Stromberg carb rebuild. Just turned 59,000 miles this summer.

We are offering this 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1.5 for sale.
Originally from the United States, delivered new to the JAGUAR dealership in New York on May 9, 1968, the car is Pale Primrose Yellow with a black interior and a black soft top.
This car was imported into France in September 2021 and registered as a classic car after receiving its FFVE certificate. The car is matching numbers, true to its original specifications. It has a 4-speed manual gearbox and a 4.2L 6-cylinder engine producing 265 hp with two Zenith Stromberg carburetors.
The car is in excellent condition with a recently installed black soft top and a pristine interior. The dashboard is complete and everything is in working order. The car comes with a tonneau cover and is fitted with wire wheels.
The engine has been serviced and is fully operational. The car is responsive and smooth to drive, with good acceleration thanks to the torque of the inline 6-cylinder engine. The sound is exceptional with this 6-cylinder engine.
The chrome is in good condition, as are the headlights. The paintwork is of very high quality, the doors are aligned, and the hood is in excellent condition. The doors close properly.
Please note that the windshield is cracked on the driver's side.
Structurally, the car is not in good condition. The floorboards have been replaced with new ones, but the work is substandard and needs to be redone. The underside shows signs of corrosion.
We are selling the car as is for a bodywork restoration project. Its price is therefore attractive, allowing the buyer to begin the project with a residual value that will cover their costs. Valued at over €110,000, this E-Type convertible still has potential buyers on the market. Moreover, the color is stunning.
