4.2L Inline-Six
VIN 1E13999
London, United Kingdom
This Series 1 Jaguar E-Type is a desirable, handsome, and iconic classic sports car.
It is powered by a 4.2-litre naturally aspirated inline-six, sending around 265hp to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
First registered in the USA, this left-hand-drive example was first registered with the DVLA in October 2023.
The odometer indicates 92,773 miles, though this is not warranted.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This example is finished in blue over a tan leather interior, with a blue soft-top roof.
It rides on 15-inch wire wheels with twin-eared knock-offs and mixed tyres.
Equipment includes seatbelts, headrests. a period-correct three-spoke steering wheel, chrome wire wheels, manually operated windows, and an Audiovox radio.
It has been fitted with an aftermarket exhaust system with four tips.
It is reportedly accompanied by its V5C certificate and ‘all’ keys.
CONDITION
Specific notes from the seller include: the car received a full respray in its same midnight blue colour in late 2025, the interior door cards have been replaced and it has a brand new black hood with contrasting tan mohair interior, including cover. There are now some very small, barely visible scratches from polishing on the exterior, and a little general mottling and discolouration to the interior trim, as expected for the age of the car.
The vehicle is understood to be exempt from mandatory MOT testing due to its age.
SERVICE HISTORY
The seller notes the latest service was carried out during September 2025. Work is noted to have consisted of an engine oil and filter change and check, a recommissioning, a carburettor clean, and a general mechanical clean.
