Car returns to ebay 3/24
Car has a buy it now price of $230,000 for 4 days, seller CLASSIC. COM Pro, 54k miles, car now said to be in Miami, Florida.
Seller's description:
This restored 1967 Jaguar E-Type coupe series 1.5 is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six-cylinder engine and sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission that has been fitted with synchromesh. The car was repainted in the original color of Opalescent Silver Blue, and the interior was trimmed in a matching blue leather. This example was given headlight covers, triple SU carburetors, dual side mirrors, and dash toggle switches. In 2008, the third steward of the vehicle claimed the then 52,500 miles shown on the odometer were original. The car now shows 54,697 miles; however, it is not known how many miles have been placed on the car since 2008, so the total mileage is unknown. The car is now part of an extensive collection in Miami being sold on behalf of the collector.
This Jaguar has been photographed and inspected by a third party to document its condition. The exterior shows well, and the paint is still in good condition after an older restoration in 1987. The interior looks just as fresh with no tearing in the upholstery, and it wears a dash that is in good condition. The inspection reports some headliner staining, but the carpets look clean and rich in color. Included in the sale is one key.

This 1967 Jaguar XKE Series I roadster is said to have been refurbished during the 1980s and has been repainted in Opalescent Silver Blue over retrimmed blue leather upholstery. Powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, the vehicle features a blue soft top, a top boot, enclosed headlights, 15″ wire-spoke wheels, Wilwood front brakes, GAZ shocks, triple SU carburetors, and an AM/FM radio. The selling dealer acquired the car in July 2025. This XKE is now offered with a clean Florida title.
Series I E-Types were equipped with covered headlights plus taillights positioned above the chrome rear bumpers. This example has been repainted in Opalescent Silver Blue, the seller tells us. Equipment includes a blue soft top, a blue top boot, enclosed headlights, a louvered clamshell hood, door-mounted side mirrors, triple windshield wipers, bright trim, wraparound chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets. The passenger-side fender is dented.
Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with 205/75 Hankook Kinergy ST tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. Wilwood front brakes and GAZ shocks have been adapted.
The cabin features bucket seats that have been reupholstered in blue leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. Interior appointments include black vinyl dashboard trim, an AM/FM transistor radio, center-stack speakers, a passenger-side grab handle, a heater, a height-adjustable rearview mirror, and seatbelts.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are located at the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 10 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory rated at 265 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque. The engine is topped by triple SU carburetors and is augmented by a BUTEC voltage regulator.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a full-synchromesh four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

BaT comment added to above auction:
" psg559 WOW!! This is my old car that I owned for 26 years and restored during that time. If the buyer wants to know any of the history, I can provide info for the period that I owned it. @IanC – When I sold it, I did include the Jaguar Heritage Certificate with it. Since I got it so long ago, it looks much different than the ones you get today. Hopefully, it’s still with the car. The colors are original – Opalescent Silver Blue with dark blue interior and top. I’ll be watching this one!"
