Seen on eBay. Ad reads:
This E-type was restored by its previous owner to a good driver level condition. Lots of attention to detail was put into the restoration and also has very good eye appeal. This Jaguar is ready to go, drive it away or ship it from our showroom. You could show this XKE in a Concours and should do very well in the Driven class category. This E-type has a great overall look, and is a very good example. 1967 Jaguar XKE's are the most collectible of all E-types. This is the one to own!
The paint, interior, chrome, top and boot are in very good condition. Recent service includes brakes, carburetors, fluids, and a tune-up. This E-type has been fully detailed inside, outside, engine, and the undercarriage. There are toggle switches and full instrumentation. The interior has armrests and a center console. The headlights are covered with Triplex glass and a beautiful chrome rim.

1967 Jaguar Series I E-Type Roadster
LOT 138
CHASSIS#: 1E12836
ESTIMATE: $ 60,000 -- $ 80,000
$81,400 USD | Sold
Presented in Opalescent blue – a rare, but highly attractive original Jaguar color - with a dark blue interior, top and boot cover and with chrome wire wheels, this remarkable E-Type has great eye appeal. Paint, interior, chrome, top and boot are all in very high point condition having all benefited from a thorough and no expense-spared restoration several years ago.
The current owner purchased this E-Type shortly after the restoration and being a fastidious and enthusiastic owner and driver he set to ensure the mechanical driving condition was to not only peak performance but optimum driving ability as well. Accordingly, he commissioned a local East Coast specialist to fully rebuild both the motor and transmission. Today, the car drives faultlessly and we understand needs nothing to be truly enjoyed.
The Jaguar has always benefited from routine care and maintenance and remains in excellent condition throughout with wear showing only in limited areas.
This 1967 XKE Roadster is mechanically well sorted and can be driven and enjoyed as well as being shown with pride in any concours event.

This 1966 Jaguar XKE Series I roadster was acquired by the current owner in 2008 and subsequently underwent installation of a five-speed manual transmission, a repaint, interior work, and engine upgrades. The XK inline-six was rebuilt by Ed Pink Racing Engines in 2015 before being modified to displace 4.7 liters and fitted with a Jenvey electronic fuel injection kit by the company in 2020. Finished in blue with a dark blue soft top, the car rides on an independent suspension with aftermarket shocks and torsion bars and is further equipped with 15″ knock-off wire wheels and four-piston front brake calipers. Inside, dark blue leather–trimmed seats are accompanied by a wood-rimmed steering wheel and a custom stereo. Additional details include Series I enclosed headlights and toggle-style interior switchgear along with a limited-slip differential and a Hayward & Scott stainless-steel exhaust system. This XKE Series I roadster is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in Monterey, California, with build records and a clean Colorado title listing the car as a 1967 model.
The seller tells us that this example was repainted in its current Opalescent Silver Blue finish under current ownership. The car wears a dark blue soft top with a matching top boot.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-offs and are mounted with 205/70 Pirelli P4000 Super Touring tires. The car rides on a four-wheel independent suspension and features disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors. Work in 2014 involved installing Koni shocks and four-piston aluminum front brake calipers along with an adjustable reaction plate and Fast Road torsion bars. The brake master cylinder and booster were later replaced in 2021.
The cabin was refurbished under current ownership. It features bucket seats upholstered in dark blue leather along with a color-coordinated door panels and carpets, while black vinyl covers the dash, center console, and sills. A RetroSound stereo is connected to a Rockford Fosgate amplifier as well as Kicker speakers. Further interior appointments include a sliding rearview mirror, a heater, and blue lap belts.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are located in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles.
The XK inline-six was rebuilt by Ed Pink Racing Engines of Los Angeles, California, in 2015 and later modified to displace 4.7 liters by the company in 2020. Work in 2015 included installation of an electronic fuel injection setup and Mahle pistons along with Fast Road camshafts, 1.8″ intake valves, and 1.625″ exhaust valves from Rob Beere Racing. The engine was later overbored and fitted with a stroker crankshaft, forged JE pistons, and a Jenvey individual throttle body electronic fuel injection kit in 2020. Subsequent updates in 2021 involved adding an oil cooler, replacing the main bearings, and repairing the head with helicoil inserts as well as re-sealing the top and bottom end.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission was retrofitted in 2009, a replacement flywheel and clutch kit was installed in 2011, and a Hayward & Scott stainless-steel exhaust system was added in 2014.
