Current bid $25,100 reserve not met, 7 bids, 3 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Tucson, Arizona. This auction is somewhat questionable as the pictures and description used are the same as the '03 auction.
Sellers description same as above.

After a closer look I suspect the above auction is a scam. The same pictures and description was used for the '03 auction from California.

Current bid $20,200 reserve not met, 18 bids, 4 days left in auction. Description and picutres same as '03 auction and this one is based from Louisville, Kentucky. Previous auction was pulled, this one is likely a scam too.

Please do not bid on this car if you ever see it up for sale again in the condition of these pictures. I am the present owner and have been since the end of 2003. The car has had a professional 2 year nut & bolt restoration since then and will not be up for sale anytime in the near future. The Ebay auctions since 2003 are all frauds. Upon seeing the last one I reported it to Ebay and the sellers ID was cancelled. They were asking for a cash payment in person so please be very careful when buying any car with those terms on Ebay. I imagine they must be getting the pictures and description from this website. Is there anything we can do to stop them from downloading the pictures? Maybe delete the auction descriptions?
Thank you, Proud owner of a pristine 1966 E-type Roadster

Ebay item 7/8/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1966-Jaguar-E-Type/303216330340
Car has a buy it now price of $249,999 for 29 days, now said to be in Henderson, Nevada, (previously in LaHabra, California) seller nevadawater4u, 72k miles.
Seller's description:
This listing is for a fully restored (everything has be gone through) nothing untouched, 1966 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Roadster in it factory original exterior color opalescent dark green with tan leather interior and a black convertible top. Paint is still chip and scratch free as when first painted.
I had a full restoration done at XK’s Unlimited in San Luis Obispo, CA after only bringing in the car for a rear main seal. The car at that time had never been restored. It was a survivor with all of its original parts...not ever even having a repaint. It was a hard decision but decided to do a full restoration. Almost two years later and six figures out of my pock the E-type was finished. When I first saw the car I was amazed at how great the car looked, which of course I had expected...but when I climbed in and fired her up I knew I had something special. Taking her through the rolling hills of California wine country was amazing. Hearing her unique exhaust note echo in the canyons while going through the gears, there is no description to give it justice. Maybe the sound and feel through your body of that perfect golf tee shot...no not even close. Only a select few can relate to what I’m talking about.
The restoration was done about 12 years ago and looks as good as the first day it was finished. Has been regularly maintained now only having 1,500 miles since it’s restorations completion for a total of only 72,000 miles since new back in 1966. Full documentation of the six figure restoration will be included with the sale.
Sold out of Beverly Hills, CA new and now located in the Las Vegas area. I’m the 2nd owner of the car.
The E-type has had some upgrades for drivability and performance during the restoration, but I do retain all of the changed out original parts which were also rebuilt and will go to the new owner.
Car is all numbers matching with all original body panels. Never had any rust and has never had been in an accident.
Have the Jaguar Heritage Certificate.
Some upgrades done were performance F.I.A Performance stainless steel exhaust system and Stainless steel headers, aluminum cooling system with electric fan, front and back Wilwood disc brakes, and brand new 5 speed transmission built specifically for 6 cyl. E-types. This car drives and handles amazing. Much improved on a already impressive car.
Has its tools, jack, and spare as it should. Also included is the pictured custom car cover made specifically for a 1966 e-type. Everything works on the car. Having the added 5 speed transmission makes this car one of the most pleasurable cars to drive at any speed. Just can’t explain how much joy you get from driving this car without actually being in the drivers seat yourself.

I am the owner of this beautiful 1966 Jaguar E-Type (serial # 1E12399). I purchased this car on 7-7-2020 and it is a beautiful car. I have driven the car approximately 1000 miles. Everything discussed about this car is as it should be, and the restoration was top-notch. Unfortunately, whoever rebuilt the engine made some mistakes. I would say this must have been subbed out as the rest of the car is impeccable. I have removed the engine from the car, and it is being professionally rebuilt from the block up with no expense being spared. I am very OCD and proud of it. I hope to have the engine re-installed and everything looking as new- polished, cleaned, professionally inspected and back on the road soon. I am also the proud owner (for 21 years) of a 1974 Jaguar XKE V12 Roadster which also had a complete restoration at XK's Unlimited in San Luis Obispo, CA. Sharing this from one Jaguar enthusiast to another enthusiast.
