This E-type is unique in that it was originally a German delivery car. It has a couple of unique features because of that. One is that the boot release is on the exterior of the car, next is a steering column lock independent of the ignition switch, and then finally it has instruments in metric.
This car is currently owned by a German national that resides in Utah for a portion of the year, which is where this car normally resides. This E-type sees very few miles or use. We here at Vintage Underground maintain the car. It currently is with us here at our showroom in Eugene, Oregon.
This E-type is a wonderful driver. Its condition is perfect for driving, touring, and just enjoying the car. It has been painted in its past. The color is a dark silver metallic and is not a Jaguar color. It appears the interior is original to the car.
It has been serviced by us and is ready to drive. There are a couple of very small bubbles in the paint at the bottom of the driver’s door along the seam. I can’t find any other instances. The paint is bright and presents nicely. The engine pulls strong and sounds normal and it shifts well and normally. There are no abnormal sounds from the drive train or brakes. The odometer reads 12211 in KM but the actual KM is unknown. If you have any questions, please contact through the Contact Seller link in the car's profile.
