Classic Series 1 E-Type covered headlamp 4.2 liter OTS. This is the pinnacle of E Types and considered the best years of Jaguar production. Still with the classic series 1 covered headlamp look, but a later production car that got the larger 4.2 engine, easier to use transmission, and more comfortable seats.

This example is a matching numbers car that was restored about 15 years ago and rarely driven since except to shows and concours by a Jaguar club member.

It has always been a dry state car so it never required significant rust repair. It has all its factory spot welds present showing.

Recently serviced, carbs rebuilt and adjusted, fluids changed, and brakes serviced. Runs and drives very well.

Rarely do you find such a great example so affordable. Selling to settle an estate, so it has been priced to sell.
