Exceptionally Original Series I Coupe
Recently Discovered in a Connecticut Garage

A Solid Example for a Straightforward Restoration or Preservation

This car, a two seater FHC delivered June 2, 1966 to Mr. Howard Jenson Jr. of Bloomfield, Connecticut was later acquired by another local resident Edward T. Morgan. Mr. Morgan of Morgan Laboratories would go on the own the vehicle for the remainder of his life. It's believed the car was garaged in 1976/77, where it would rest until just this year. Wearing correct Opalescent Maroon paintwork over original black leather upholstery as it left the factory, the car remains exceptionally original and solid throughout. The floors are surprisingly intact and remain very original including the original undercoat. It appears this Coupe was professionally fitted in period with an advanced audio and recording system, as well as Lucas driving lamps, but otherwise factory in appearance with preserved original equipment.

1E32848 retains its numbers-matching engine and head, as verified by original documentation. Importantly, this car's original accessories accompany the sale, including the Operating, Maintenance and rare Service Handbook, Warranty Voucher, Maintenance Voucher Booklet, Maintenance Chart - All in Plastic Pouch, Complete Tool Roll, Jack Bag, Spare Assembly and Parts. With the desirable 4.2L engine and closed headlights most indicative of early XKEs, here is a very collectible example with solid bones and history for an easy straightforward restoration or preservation of its unique originality.
