Ebay item 12/19/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Car has a buy it now price of $110,000 for 20 days.
Sellers description:
This is an exceptionl Jaguar E Type roadster. An older restoration that has been in storage for 9 years. XKs Unlimited recent did the following major work to make it road worth again:
-Rebuilt carbs, flushed gas tank, rebuilt fuel pump
-Full tune up and service. Fluids changed
-Complete cooling system restoration including flushing, NEW water pump, alloy radiator, and stainless steel header tank
-All new brake hydraulics, new wheel cylinders and new brake master cylinders
-New clutch master cylinder
-New rear wheel bearing
-All new tires and new battery
This car looks and runs like new. Body is rust and damage free. The only non original part to my knowledge are the SU carbs which are off a MK10 sedan. The difference being they have an electric choke instead of a manual choke, otherwise exactly the same performance.
A beautful car to show or drive.

Seller added (note RA6845-9 would be in the correct range):
The engine # is EA6845-9 which matches the data plate, but the plate is new so I have no way to know if that was the original number.

Car to be at auction 12/13

Auction description:
Lot 442 - 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8 Roadster
Estimate: £90,000 - £110,000
Registration Number: EU Taxes Paid
Chassis Number: 881555
Unquestionably the most desirable of the Series 1 E-Types, this stunning and beautifully restored 3.8 roadster was believed to be delivered new in December 1964 through Jaguar Cars America, and the writer can only imagine what an exciting Christmas present this must have looked!!
Recently repatriated to European shores, the car was the subject of a no expense spared restoration by world renowned XK Unlimited California. During the process the engine and body were restored to a very high standard, with all aspects of the car reported by the vendor to be now in excellent condition.
Finished in red coachwork with an unmarked light tan interior this has to be one of the best E-types Coys has offered in 2013. In superb restored condition with all UK taxes paid, you will be hard pushed to find another example like this one.

Ebay item 7/14/14
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Series-1-Roadster-Fully-Restored-/301127430771
Classified Ad price: £124,995.
Sellers description:
We are happy to offer this incredible 1964 Series 1 Roadster for sale.
It has the 3.8 straight 6 engine and manual gearbox and is a full matching number example.
It is a LHD car originally supplied in California.
It has just had a full nut and bolt restoration and so is now "as new" and has covered just 2,000 miles since its rebuild.
You won't find a better example.
The chrome wheels and bumpers, along with the engine and all suspension and underside, all look like they have never seen rain or dirt.
The biscuit leather interior and matching hood both look brand new, as does the gleaming red paintwork.
All the electrics work just as they should, the fine toggle switches all feel top quality and the roof folds away with ease.
Fire up the engine and the car moves away very smoothly. There are no rattles or squeaks and it drives just as well, if not better, than a lot of modern cars.

This EJag is being advertised by which I believe to be a scammer...Will Huges. Here is one of his emails...Hi ,
Sorry for my late answer . The car is like new condition, no scratches, no dents. As you probably noticed, the price is $18.200 . I'm selling the car at this price because i can't enjoy it due to my job , i work at sea as i am a marine biologist (I work on the St-Lawrence river in Quebec, my office: Pilotes du Bas-St-Laurent) and I left the car in Sterling, VA at the shipping company.
Please let me know if you are still interested in order to forward you more info and pictures.
Thank you
