cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-1964-E-Type-OTS-New-Ground-Up-Res ...
Current bid $50,000 reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction. 66k miles.
Sellers description:
Beautiful, opalescent silver blue E-Type has just come out of a complete, ground-up restoration by a well-known Jaguar restorer. With a blue hood (top) and blue leather interior the car is striking. A complete set of tools and books accompanies the car. A 1966 Jaguar transmission has been installed so that there is full syncromesh in all gears. The original transmission (Moss box) will be sold with the car. It has been fitted with larger radial tires for better look and road handling. A Jaguar Daimler Heritage Certificate will be provided to the buyer. Everything works properly and the car is a dream to drive.

I purchased this car Thanksgiving 2006 and it is indeed spectacular. I have driven it nearly 2000 miles since then and cannot wipe the smile off my face every time I look at or drive this car. It is now located in Santa Ana, CA and continues to be maintained in perfect condition.

Car returns to ebay 7/27/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-Fully-Restored-Matching-Numbers-S ...
Current bid $67,600 reserve not met, 8 bids 9 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Santa Ana, California.
Sellers description:
Excellent example of the purest form of the most beautiful car ever made. Series 1 E-Type Open Two Seater with thrillingly powerful 3.8 engine. Drive it to the show and drive home with a trophy.
Stunning Opalescent Silver Blue paint with no flaws or dings. Navy blue leather interior in perfect condition. Navy blue canvas top with no wrinkles in the perfectly clear plastic window. No excuses, no apologies, this car looks better in person than in the pictures.
Full ground up, nuts and bolts, 2 year restoration completed in 2006 for a JCNA Judge to concours standard by Jon Pollock of Reseda, CA. with 280 pictures of restoration. I have owned this car for 6 years and regularly take it out for a 60 mile loop on country roads thru the hills of Orange County. It is as thrilling to drive as it is beautiful to look at. Highlights include:
Jaguar Heritage Certificate verifying all matching numbers.
The original 3.8 engine was rebuilt as part of the restoration.
Total original miles 69,343 with about 3,000 in the past 6 years since restoration.
Complete correct tool kit, jack, owners manual, service manual.
Color copy of 1972 California pink slip signed upon sale in 2004.
1966 all synchromesh transmission was installed with the restoration for greatly improved drivability. Original moss box is included.
Car always stored inside, never rained on, and no rust anywhere.
I have performed some additional drivability upgrades as detailed below. All the original parts are in concours condition and of course come with the car:
Willwood billet racing 4 piston brake calipers with vented, slotted and drilled front discs from Classic Jaguar.
Aluminum radiator with integral high capacity fan from Classic Jaguar.
All shock absorbers and springs upgraded with Classic Jaguar adjustable shocks.
Electrical converted to negative ground and a custom made alternator installed that looks exactly like a correct Lucas C-45 generator.
Spin-on oil filter adaptor for modern oil filter.
15 inch Moto-Lita steering wheel which is stiffer and 1 inch smaller thereby creating more knee room for tall guys...I'm 6'3"
