In 1991, 875159 was in the hands of an old-car dealer in Florida, who also owned 875294. In June of 1994, a car described as "#159 from only 386," and hence likely 875159, was advertised from Georgia. It was described as restored.

Opening bid $52,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction. Car is in Hollywood, Florida.

    Sellers description:
A very unmolested, undamaged and un-rusted early E type. Why spend all the money and time in restoring a vehicle, when you can get this vehicle in top shape. The black exterior paint shines like the Florida sun and the interior is free of rips and tears. This convertible has been stored and kept indoors due to its service as part of our automotive group classic car display.
