Sellers description:
Excellent frame-off restored 1969 E-Type Roadster. This car was purchased on E-Bay in 2002 and has been enjoyed by the current owner for the past five years. Driven approximately 20 miles and/or warmed-up every two weeks or so, this car turns heads and purrs like a kitten. It has been a winner in the 1960-1969 Production Car category at the Classic Cars and Rockets Car Show in Huntsville, AL. The only thing that the current owner has had to do was to replace the speedometer cable, change the oil, add gas and wax it. The valve covers shown are from an earlier model E-type. I have the original covers but I like the way these look. It has not had a drop of water on it in the past 5 years and based on the way it looks, it hasn't been wet since it it was restored. The condition is excellent with some very minor surface nicks. The only obvious defect is a very small hole in the like-new canvas top that was discovered when the top was put up for the first time in four years. Mileage noted is an estimate of the mileage since restoration. The appraisal rates it as Mint Resored Condition for Chassis, Engine, Paint, Chrome, Upholstry and Body. It is a beautiful restoration, rust-free and well detailed. The paint under the hood looks better then some new car finishes. This is an outstanding series two roadster.
