Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar series ll roadster. I am listing this car for my friend. This car was in a garage for 30 years. What appears to be changed is the car has triple SU,s and a wood rim steering wheel which apparantely were not fitted to this year unless they are special order and I do not have build sheet info. The car was painted a previous owner . It appears to be very solid with the only major rust being on the sill area by the battery box and the front of the drivers floor is one spot for sure but no major holes apparant. The motor is free and no attempt has been made to start it yet. If time permits we will try to do so. Has original champion spark plug boots. Interior has original radio, see picture,The interior will need to be restored. Body has dents on front right and rear in pictures and a dent on the rear quarter.Numbers on body tag match titl* and tag on the windshield frame. Engine is 4.2 and appears to be original but darn hard to find engine number. No room. Car shows approx 36000 miles on it and it is most likely true but have no history other then the car sat for 30 years in a garage. Car is being sold for restoration so is not drivable at present. This car is a hard find to discover in this condition. It has not been tampered with other then the bad paint job. Steering wheel has delaminated but it comes with a replacement new aftermarket jag wood rim steering wheel. Also included are 5 very nice chrome jag rims with 4 decent tires. Rims on the car are also original but wheels are rusty.
