• A highly desirable, late Series I example; 4.2-liter engine and fully-synchronized gearbox
• Complete with restoration DVD and JDHT certificate

According to its accompanying Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, this highly desirable Series I 4.2-Liter E-Type Roadster was completed by Jaguar on April 24, 1967. On May 11, it was dispatched to Belgian Motor Co., of Brussels, Belgium, and its first recorded owner was one CHA Wright, resident in Brussels.

Most recently, the E-Type was restored by the marque specialists Classic Showcase in Oceanside, California. Included in the restoration process was a complete body fit and repaint in a base coat and clearcoat finish, which was color sanded and buffed; the brightwork was rechromed, as necessary, and all mechanical systems were serviced and restored as needed. The newly fitted Grey interior is complete with matching leather upholstery. Under the bonnet, the powerful 4.2-liter DOHC XK six is fitted with triple SU carburetors, mated to a fully-synchronized gearbox, and complete with a new aluminum radiator with auxiliary fan and a new header tank. A black cloth top and matching boot, Pirelli P4000 radial tires, and 6x15 chrome wire wheels provide the final touches.

Consistently well-serviced and maintained by Jaguar professionals, this freshly restored late-Series I Roadster is accompanied at auction by a DVD documenting the restoration process and a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate.
