Summary: XKE Series One 4.2 Liter in red and black. Excellent older restoration with full documentation. Desirable triple carburetor covered light, California car.
Details: Recently purchased from its owner of the past 25 years. This 1967 Jaguar XKE Series One 4.2 Liter roadster received a ground-up, nut and bolt restoration in the late 90's and has covered only 2,000 miles since. It was purchased by specialist restorer, Kurt Tanner Restorations, and has recently benefited from a full cosmetic detailing, new black leather trim kit and a thorough mechanical inspection with fresh tires. This excellent Jaguar E-Type features its correct matching numbers drivetrain, upgraded cooling system, cloth top and boot, original jack and tool roll and full documentation of its original restoration, plus the recent work performed. A California car from new, this 4.2 Liter roadster runs and drives very well and is one of the most desirable year, model and body styles of the Jaguar E-Type range. This was the final year for triple carburetor, 265hp engine, full syncro gearbox and attractive glass covered headlamps. A very nice restored car that is fast and comfortable to drive.
