This E-type was restored by its previous owner to a good driver level condition. Lots of attention to detail was put into the restoration. This Jaguar is ready to go, drive it away or ship it from our showroom. You could show this XKE in a Concours and would do very well in the Driven class category. This E-type has a great overall look, very good eye appeal and is also a very good example. 1967 Jaguar XKE's are the most collectible of all E-types. This is the one to own!

The paint, interior, chrome, top and boot are in very good condition. Recent service includes brakes, carburetors, fluids, and a tune-up. This E-type has been fully detailed inside, outside, engine, and the undercarriage. The new Avon tires match well with the chrome wire wheels. There are toggle switches and full instrumentation. The interior has armrests and a center console. The headlights are covered with Triplex glass and a beautiful chrome rim.

When introduced at Geneva in 1961, Jaguar’s new XK-E sports car was nothing short of a sensation. It was long, it was low and it was as sexy as any machine could be. In keeping with Jaguar practice, this new model offered sensational performance and heart-stopping looks at a price -- that while not inexpensive -- offered inordinate value for the money.

Under the phenomenally long bonnet lurked a variation of the famed XK engine—a twin-overhead cam straight six. With a 3.8-liter displacement and triple SU carburetors, this marvelous engine was rated at 265bhp. Power was transmitted through a four-speed Moss gearbox with synchromesh on the top three gears. Overdrive was optional. As if the looks and power unit weren’t enough, suspension was fully-independent and hydraulically-actuated Dunlop disc brakes sat inside the 15-inch wire wheels.

In 1965, displacement grew to 4.2 liters, although the power rating didn’t budge. Seats were improved and a new fullysynchronized transmission found its way under the broad transmission tunnel. Other changes made these later E-Types even more desirable than those first models.

This left-hand drive roadster looks stunning in red with black leather and a black top. Dating from 1967, this was the final year for the triple carburetor engine and the sleek covered headlamp, as well as the evocative row of toggle switches.
