Current bid $25,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar E Type OTS - This is an exceptional original car with 58,400 miles. Four speed manual in Black with Cinnamon interior. Highest point car in JCNA class C19A at 99.29 in 2011. Over twenty 1st place JCNA Concours, 2nd nationally at 99.61 in 2006 and 3rd nationally in 2007 at 99.67 all in JCNA Preservation class. First Regionally in 2004 at 99.34, 2005 at 99.17, and 2011 at 99.29. Car is in excellent condition and is a wonderful and dependable driver. Everything is in good working condition. Under carriage is very clean and detailed. All numbers, paint color and interior match the Heritage Certificate for the car. The Original hardtop is included. Car was delivered in England and I have owned the car since 2000. This is a car that can easily be the National champion in class C19A if shown in at least 3 JCNA Concours events.

To make the car a reliable sound driver, the following changes have been made.

An aluminum radiator replaced the original An electronic ignition was added

    3. The Jaguar fuel pump was changed to a generic pump that has been flawless for 12 years

    4. The original horns were replaced with louder horns, but the originals are with the car

In concours judging they do take a small deduction for the electronic ignition, but can not see the other changes. The aluminum radiator has been painted black as the original.

The car was delivered in England and has no US emission controls or air conditioning. The car has the original interior and top. The paint is also original except for the area
behind the doors. No deduction has ever been taken in a JCNA sponsored event for this repaint. The repaint was done in 2000 for a small corrosion area in the upper wheel wells. The repair was done in metal and is invisible. There has been no evidence of rust in the 12 years I have owned the car.

This is a Jaguar E type that is meant for a Jaguar enthusiast that will appreciate its outstanding original condition and want to campaign it for a national championship
In JCNA class C19A. This is a very pure example with a manual 4 speed transmission, no air conditioning, steel wheels, and no emission controls.

    Seller's description:

    Location: Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

    Mileage: 58,254

    Transmission: Manual

    Condition: Excellent

    Exterior: Black

    Interior: Cinnamon

The car here is in the absolutely, knock down gorgeous black.

The second is originality. This car is a non-restored car and has been featured extensively in the Preservation Class. The demand for original, unmolested cars is growing due to the dwindling number remaining. This car has been exercised regularly and been kept in great running condition, ready to be driven anywhere. Also included is a colour matching factory hardtop in great shape!!! Original interior with headrest, visor and seat bottoms rebuilt but retains original leather. Original engine and drive train. Original black hard top and original convertible top!

Third is the Heritage Factor, this car comes with the Jaguar Heritage certificate. All numbers, paint color and interior match the Heritage Certificate for the car.

Fourth is the fact that this car has been judged and scored in the high 90s several times…and that certainly says a lot when seasoned judges give your car such high scores.

Fifth point is that this Jaguar has the rarest and “most desirable feature”, the manual four-speed transmission. It is true that Jaguar was targeting a market that wanted a touring car and so nearly all XKE's came with the automatic transmission. The automatic transmission took a lot of the sport aspect out of the car and also much of the fun. The car here is original manual four speed transmission. This car again comes with the rare feature of the manual transmission that we think is a real bonus and the factory removable hardtop in black.

The car is a reliable, sound driver. Everything is in good working condition. The under carriage is very clean and tidy. The following upgrade have been made. An aluminum radiator replaced the original and has been painted black as the original. An electronic ignition was added. The Jaguar fuel pump was changed to a generic pump that has been flawless for 12 years. The original horns were replaced with louder horns but the originals are with the car.

The car was originally delivered in England and has no US emission controls.

The car is sold with a clean Canadian Certificate of Registration.

From a collector's point of view, if you are going to a serious Jaguar Concours where your car is going to be scrutinized and besides the condition the car would be the best package in the best colors that often captures the judge's attention. The car that you are looking for is exactly that package!

    Price: $61,900

    Now for sale at www.sportsclassics.co.uk/inventory/jaguar/e-type/v12-commemorative-/view-144

    Seller's description :

This is a vey special original and preservation class E Type.

It is offered in commemorative livery, this car was a multiple 1st place winner in preservation events through to 2012 for which we have the JCNA records.

Being then sold to the last owner in Canada in 2012 covering only 1500 miles in this time, sparingly used in the summer months for shows and local events.

The original owner Mr R Cox was dismayed at not being able to buy one of the last 50 cars as they were all RHD, so he contacted Jaguar directly to complain having been a long term classic Jaguar owner.

They agreed to build one for him as a personal import in LHD and this was supplied through British Leyland, Piccadilly London as a personal export with a UK, Coventry registration mark NHP88M.

We have registered the car in the UK but it is not yet on the original number plate. We are working with the DVLA to try and get this registration back.

Whilst these commemorative cars were 1 of 50, this car could be classed as one of one !!

When the last 50 cars were produced they were all in standard specification. Black paint, Cinnamon interior, matching black hard top with a choice of manual or automatic transmission and wire or " artilliery wheels ".

This car has the more desirable manual gearbox and artilliery wheels.

Other than a non-originl fuel pump and the horns (both originals with the car) the car is as it left the factory. The seat foams were replaced but the original covers were retained and re used.

The paint and metal work are all original too, as is the soft top cover.

We have done nothing to the car other than to check fluids and operating condition which is excellent. A copy of the heritage certificate is provided and the current mileage shown on the trip meter is 60293.

We have remove the ugly USA large over riders for advertising but we have retained these to go with the car.
