This Series III E-Type was originally exported to the USA and brought back to the United Kingdom in 1989. It was purchased by the vendor, who commissioned a total restoration by Vicarage, the respected marque restorers. As such it is in fine condition and worthy of close inspection. The car performed faultlessly during a short test drive. It is Swiss registered.
Sale room notice
This car was not restored by Vicarage themselves, but by Malcolm Woolhead, current owner of Vicarage. It was outright winner of the Benson and Hedges Concours in 1990
