I bought this car a year or two ago from someone in El Paso. Mileage of 15000 seems original. I'm interested in prior history. Former owner said it had been a Michign car

Description from the above RS auction:

This 1974 British Racing Green Jaguar E-Type roadster was recently the center of attention in a protracted estate battle, which explains the 16,700 miles on this Jag (the mileage is believed to be correct but it not documented). After being taken out of storage, this little Jag was brought up to 'like new' performance standards - including the air conditioning. This automatic transmission roadster has a lovely factory hardtop and a recent addition of a hi-fi system complete with CD player.
This car has been repainted, but otherwise is all-original and has not been restored. Take this roadster out for a spin and you'll see that it drives like new. With very few paint blemishes and a new grill, this Jaguar is ready to drive off down the coast!
MARKET ESTIMATE: $35,000 - $40,000
