    Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar XKE V12 Coupe. Very rare Jaguar in nice condition throughout. This E-Type just needs some finishing touches and she will be golden. I have run out of space and time and the next lucky person must carry the torch for me. She is remarkably stock inside & out. She is loaded with factory items like: Jaguar 5.3L V12 With 4 Carbs, Automatic Transmission, Air-Conditioning, Power Steering & Power Brakes. She runs out nice and shifts well. I just dropped about six grand in her over the last two months alone. Among many other items I had a new master cylinder and brake booster replaced but the peddle is still soft. New lines are probably next to get her to stop properly. The body is very dry, straight and clean. Her exterior paint is very nice and the leather upholstery is all stock. Drivers side seat cushion is the worst, passenger seat is better and then rear seats are the best. Pretty much how it goes with any of these vintage cars. The dash, steering wheel, gauges…etc all seem stock and correct & clean. The glass, bright work and chrome are nice. Stock E wheels with center caps and white walls. Exhaust sounds great! She comes with lots of receipts, Jaguar shop manuals, tool wrap, extra parts & pieces. The V12 E-Type is one of the most complicated and sophisticated sport coupes ever manufactured. If your broke or going broke this is not the correct classic car for you. Save some more money and then buy one. It can cost a fortune just to look at these E-Types. However when things are in place it is like a symphony. If you like to tinker or think your ready for a classis V12 Jag then pickup the phone.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
