Ebay item 5/26/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-BEAUTIFUL-1973-JAGUAR-E-TYPE-ROADSTER-JUST ...
Current bid $25,100 reserve pricenot met, 5 bids 9 days left in auction. 71k miles.

Sellers description:
1973 JAGUAR E-TYPE ROADSTER. FINISHED WITH A BRITISH RACING GREEN EXTERIOR AND BISCUIT LEATHER INTERIOR. DRIVEN 71,276 CAREFUL MILES SINCE NEW. OPTIONS ON THIS JAGUAR INCLUDE THE 12 CYLINDER ENGINE, 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION, LEATHER SEATS, WIRE WHEELS, AIR CONDITIONING AND MUCH MORE.

THIS JAGUAR JUST UNDERWENT AN OIL AND FLUID SERVICE WITHIN THE LAST 20 MILES AND IT DRIVES EVEN BETTER THAN IT LOOKS. THE MASSIVE 12 CYLINDER ENGINE IS STRONG AND POWERFUL AND THE 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION SHIFTS PROPERLY THROUGH ALL OF THE GEARS. THE STEERING IS TIGHT AND PRECISE AND THE BRAKES FEEL JUST GREAT. THIS REALLY HAPPENS TO BE A LOVELY JAGUAR TO DRIVE.

THE INTERIOR IS STUNNING. THE BRAND NEW BISCUIT LEATHER SEATS ARE IN REMARKABLE CONDITION (JUST INSTALLED LAST WEEK) SHOWING NO WEAR AT ALL TO EITHER SEAT. THE DASHBOARD LOOKS GREAT AND EVEN THE CARPETS DON'T LOOK OR FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN STEPPED ON.

THE EXTERIOR IS WHAT REALLY SETS THIS PARTICULAR 1973 E-TYPE ROADSTER APART FROM THE REST. THE CLASSIC BRITISH RACING GREEN PAINT IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION WITH NO MAJOR SCRATCHES OR DINGS ANYWHERE AT ALL. THE PAINT IS BRIGHT AND SHINEY WITH PLENTY OF LUSTER. THE CHROME AND BRIGHTWORK ARE VERY GOOD AS WELL. ADD THE OPTIONAL WIRE WHEELS MOUNTED ON GOOD TIRES AND THIS JAGUAR REALLY DOES STAND OUT FROM THE REST.

I WOULD CLASSIFY THIS EXAMPLE AS A VERY GOOD DRIVER. IT LOOKS AND DRIVES VERY WELL ALTHOUGH IT IS BY NO MEANS A CONCOURS WINNING CAR. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF MINOR NICKS AND MARKS HERE AND THERE AND IT LACKS SOME DETAIL TO MAKE IT AN EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE. NICE!!!

CARSFROMFLORIDA is proud to present this magnificent 1973 Jaguar E-Type Convertible in British Racing Green with pristine Tan leather interior.

This is one of the nicest Jaguar E-Types that we have had in many years. The 326CI V12 engine is factory stock, fitted with Four Stromberg carbs. Fires right up and pulls hard through the rev range from idle to red line on par with a small block Corvette. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts perfectly and the 3:54 rear end provides a nice mix of accelaration and high speed cruising. Power steering and 4 wheel disc brakes make for effortless steering and stopping.

Gorgeous leather interior, with unblemished carpets dash and door panels. Excellent chrome bumpers front and rear and excellent chrome headlight nacelles. New weather stripping, including windshield and rear surround, side windows, rear hatch, and bonnet. Amazing chrome factory spoke wheels.

Earlier, cleaner looking dual chrome exhaust, rather than the cumbersom four pipe fan assembly. A non smokers vehicle, goes straight down the road with no shake or noises, and that unbelievable ride Jaguars are known for.

Previous auction ended at $25,600 reserve not met after 6 bids.
