One owner well maintained car just purchased from Ray Lipper founder of Centerline Wheel in Los Angeles CA. who provided all the original purchase documents BL paperwork, invoice, BL id plate, owners manual & W/S manual with pouch & binders. Turquoise is tops on an E type. Even the pictures are an injustice.

Beg to differ, rare as a hens tooth in the UK as an original RHD, very period colour. Liked it so much I bought one! 1S2399

Agreed, rare as hens teeth especially with the turquoise hood. Never seen one in the wild.

Rare does not make it attractive!

FIRST OWNER RAY LIPPER FOUNDER OF CENTERLINE WHEEL BOUGHT IT NEW 07/24/73. WELL MAINTAINED ORIGINAL BY CAR GUY FOR 1ST 38 YEARS. SECOND OWNER PURCHASED WINTER 2011.

Hi Douglas. Yours is gorgeous too! The funny thing about people is how they cling to fads. Of late white cars are the rage. Everyone has to have one. Then there's black...in the E Type arena it is BRG or Burgundy. The beauty of turquoise in not so much its rarity but the fact it evokes the color of the Greek islands and the Caribean. However...to each his own. Best to you Douglas,Andre.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
