cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Series-3-2-2-Coupe-Stick-Shift-Restored-Ve ...
Car has a buy it now price of $17,500 for 20 days. Now said to be in Gaylordsville, Connecticut. 87k miles.
Sellers description:
1972 Jaguar XKE Series 3 2+2 V-12 Coupe. White with red interior. 87,000 miles.Rare manual shift transmission. Car is fitted with better looking Mag wheels which are rare to this model as they are usually fitted with wire wheels, which are a pain to keep nice, these mags have been redone and are very nice. Great running older restoration. Body of this car was subject to a down to Tub restoration in the early 1990's with receipts to prove it. Car shows very nicely. Letter from Jaguar shows the car was built at factory on April 28, 1972 and originally finished in the current colors of white with a red interior. Car is very nice with the following flaws, interior has some wear on the drivers bolster, side adjustment is missing from drivers seat( I will try to order this), headliner while in very nice shape hangs down, AC needs recharge, there is a small chip on the driver door edge. Otherwise the car shows very nicely and is very clean both on top and on the bottom. Trunk is rust free and very clean with the exception of the orange colored adhesive they use to keep the padding glued down, it looks like rust but isn't. This car is great fun to drive and it is very fast. Car comes with owners manual, the jack and service records from the 1980's until present time. The outside finish including all the chrome is very nice and crisp on this car. Usually these cars get tired looking but someone spent a lot of time and energy to make this one nice.
Car is located in the northwestern corner of Connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City. Car comes with a transferable registration which acts as a title since New York State does not issue titles on vehicles 1972 and older.
