Sellers description:
This car was purchased by my mother in 1971 from the original owner and has been a Georgia car for most of its life. It has lived in Florida for the past 7 years. This Jag has ALWAYS been stored inside a closed covered garage.

This car underwent a complete Engine and Transmission rebuild in 1993. Once the rebuild was complete it was driven for the initial break in period and then put inside a garage under cover until now. As you can see from the pictures the car is in overall nice condition. The paint is original and needs to be completely repainted, All the rubber seals on the car are dry-rotted and will need to be replaced. This includes the seals in the engine and all rubber on the car. The body is straight and in great shape minus the 3-4 superficial rust spots on it as shown in the pictures. They are superficial because they are not holes, just light spots. The only rust on the car is from the battery box and even it is still solid. There are no major dents on the car with the exception of the roof where there are 4 dent approximately 5" in diameter. These happened when I moved to Florida and the moving company built a metal loft in the moving truck that the Jag sat under. The movers forgot to let the air out of the tires and as a result it bumped the loft for 800 miles, creating the 4 said dents. What Idiots! the only other issue is the minor dent above the rear passenger wheel arch. The interior is in overall good condition as the two front seats have new leather on them (1993), not the headrest but the rest of the seats. The rear seat will need to be recovered as noted in the pictures. This car is all original and will make one hell of a Jag restoration project. EVERYTHING IS HERE For this car, unlike some jags for sale that need parts, you get a complete car that ran, and ran strong when it was put away.

I had plans to restore the car myself but two rug rats later I have come to the realization that this is just not in the cards for me and I would love to see someone get it that will restore it to its original beauty.
