Auction description:
1969 XKE 4.2 2+2 Jaguar #P1R42721
I've this 1969 XKE 4.2 2+2 Jaguar for over 35 years. It has always been a show car for the years I have owned it. It has 21,463 original miles and all shows it has taken 1st or 2nd in the early 1990's. I turned it into a high performance show car at the same time keeping it as original as possible.
Lou Fidanza at Gran Tirusmo Jaguar and I decided to make this a level 3 car which took the engine from 190hp to 326hp with internal and external components, you will see on list.
I also upgraded the front and rear suspension and put on Daton S.S. wire wheels. This engine only has about 3500 miles on it, and has made this car 0-60 4 second car. It was also viewed by a sports car authority and he said it was very well done and was a rocket powered limo.
The car also has brand new black leather interior and just the upgrades in 1990 were about 28,000.00 today about 40,000.00. I also have original equipment including the wheels.
Engine: 3 Sucarbs, S.S. covered lines, forged high comp. pistons, high performance cams, alloy wheels & damper system, S.S. headers, large remote oil system with cooler, three electrical fans, and redline moved from 5500rpm to 8500rpm. This engine is what is called stage 3
Suspension: New torsion bars, heavy duty anti sway bars with STR kits, delpin poly brushings system, new shocks, new springs, adjusting anti sway bars.
Exterior: Paint all cut & rubbed, daton S.S wheels

Auction description:
Consignment # 7012
VIN: P1R42721
This 1969 Jaguar XK-E 4.2 2+2 has been the property of the current vendor for 37 years and has been a show car for all of these years. The car has but 21,500 original miles and in all the shows it has been entered, the car has taken 1st or 2nd Place. During this time as well, the car was performance-tuned by Lou Findanza at Gran Turismo Jaguar, made into a Stage 3 car which took the engine from 190bhp at 5,500 to 326 bhp at over 8,000 RPM with both internal and external components. Lou also upgraded the front and rear suspension and put on new Dayton stainless-steel wire wheels. The engine has about 3,500 miles on it since all the work and resulted in a 4 seconds to 60 mph car from a standing stop; viewed by a noted Sports Car authority, he said "well done - you have just made a 'rocket-powered limo'.
The car's paint was done in 2010 and was all cut and rubbed to perfection; it also has a new black leather interior. In total, the upgrades performed would cost about $50,000 today. Some of the engine upgrades are as follows: 3 SU carbs, a large remote oil system with wet sump system, stainless-steel lines, forged high compression pistons, high performance camshafts, an alloy flywheel and front damper, a special clutch, stainless steel headers, a special worked crankshaft, remote oiling system with 3 electric fans, new heavy-duty torsion bars, heavy duty adjustable anti-sway bars, Delrin poly bushings, new shocks and springs and more.
