Car to be at auction 1/09
www.coys.co.uk/auctions/lot.php
Auction description:
Autosport
NEC, Birmingham
Saturday 10th January 2009
1964 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Competition
Lot 247
Registration Number: SKH 712B
Chassis Number: 890392
This series one example was fantastically rebuilt on a brand new Martin Robey steel monocoque with integral roll cage in 2005 – ’06 and is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition.
The 4.2 litre blueprinted engine from Mike Wilkinson is fitted with new 48DCOE Webers. The engine has been Dyno’d tested when built and rolling road tuned with the engine producing over 300 lbft of torque feeding through a 5 speed Getrag gearbox with limited slip differential. Putting the power down on the road is taken care of by sticky Yokohamas on 6 inch Dunlop wheels.
The attention to detail in the construction of the car is second to none with suspension parts powder coated, lightened starter motor and alternator, twin electric pumps, aluminium radiator, custom steering wheel, Stack rev counter and the lightweight hard top is supplied by Eagle.
Supplied with a V5 document, MoT certificate valid until March 2009 and a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, the owner informs us that apart from the interior requiring trimming the car would require very little work to be FIA eligible.
Estimate: £45000 - £55000

Hello,
I am the owner of this car in Japan. I've imported to six years ago from the United Kingdom. Align the hood to the roll cage, was produced.
