Mileage 45000

3.8 serie 1 FHC with factory Webasto Sunroof

Seller Type Private

This Jaguar E-Type Coupe Series 1 3.8L (XKE FHC) left the factory on October 10, 1963. It was then Opalescent Silver Blue and had a Dark Blue piped Light Blue interior.

It was delivered by the Jaguar dealership in New York on November 8, 1963, already equipped with a perfectly fitted Webasto canvas sunroof and green tinted windows.

At some point in its life, it was repainted Black and re-trimmed in Black. Always stored in a garage, the car was then put away by me near Tampa in Florida in 2001. The car was shipped to Paris, France and used regularly till 2012 when it was again stored in a garage.

It was put back on the road last year.

Its bodywork had held up very well over time, as had its interior, all of which did not require any work and it is well presented.

Today, the car has 45,000 miles on the odometer and its engine runs very well.

Among the improvements done on the car, there is an aluminum radiator, a High Torque starter, aluminum pulleys, 6 brand new Koni shocks.

The car got a service earlier this year and last year as well as it had a new gas pump and filter.

This is an opportunity to have a rare car, the line of the legendary coupé with the advantages of the convertible thanks to its rare original Webasto roof !

Car is located in France, have a clean Florida title in hand, can help for the shipping.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
