We’re proud to be able to present this breathtaking Jaguar E Type 3,8L Lightweight Low Drag 1964 replica.
More than a simple replica this is an identical reconstruction of the famous racing E Type. The work which has gone into creating this vehicle is beyond reproach and fully conforms with original specifications. Built by ATS at Le Mans, primarily renowned for being the only workshop approved by Shelby to build the Cobras Daytona coupes (on the basis of a Cobra 289) attests to the experience and seriousness with which this vehicle was built.
The amount of work done to create this E type was very impressive: Everything was rebuilt from new starting from a 1964 steel bodied E Type coupe. The doors and hoods in aluminium have been perfectly made to measure by hand. The Dunlop rims are in magnesium alloy and are identical to the originals. The large Dunlop brakes are those fitted to the lightweight. Most impressively the engine block is an authentic new aluminium 3,8 L, authorised by Jaguar & FIA homologated (330 hp). The cylinder head is a Type D wide angle. The three carburettors are 48 IDA Webers. The vehicle is also fitted with a dry sump and a ZF gearbox as was the original.
The amount of work that’s gone into this vehicles creation is truly amazing and it shows in the result. This vehicle can really be considered an exact clone rather than a simple replica.

This is a unique opportunity to acquire what must be the most authentic Lightweight Low Drag replica in existence. This E Type is like new and is awaiting its new owner in Switzerland with Swiss and French registration.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
