Ebay item 3/3/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $8,400.00 (Reserve not met), 6 bids, 6 days left in auction, 60k on the odo.
Lindley Restorations of PA., completed a complete restoration of this vehicle in 1998...everything rebuilt or new...emphasis was also placed on improving driveability...Electronic ignition, electrical cooling fan, complete stainless exhaust, etc...
Near perfect black leather interior ...exterior paint could use some attention, but is very presentable...All chrome is very good!
Wire wheels are very nice with good Pirellis...
All gauges work as they should...beautiful original wooden wheel...
All glass, seals, etc... are in very good condition...
No dents or dings, no known accidents...I have been informed that this is not a #'s matching car...The engine was replaced with a correct engine at some point, the gearbox is original as far as I know...
Here are the #'s
car no. 889042
body no. V6302
Engine no. RA2991-9
Gearbox no. EB11011JS
While not a 100 point show car, it is certainly nicer than your average "20 footer"!
Car has been maintained and improved by Jaguar experts...non smoker car...
Stored in a heated, humidity controlled garage, as part of a collection of vintage drivers...
Vehicle has passed a recent NY State inspection
There is also quite a bit of documentation available regarding the restoration

I owned this car back in 1968 when it was primrose. It was running webers, abarth 4 pipe exhaust and Goodyear blue streak tires. That car was fast. I bought it from a guy in Miami, FL. I think the original color was silver Blue with a dark blue interior. I only had the car for less than a year due to being drafted into the army. If it comes back on the market email me maybe I will buy it back.
