Very unlikely this car is built in october 1963, as 887927 was build on dec 26 1962. More likely it´s built october 1962.

Willem, you are correct, according to the Heritage Certificate compiled by A.J. Morgan, 3.10.83, the chassis was completed 3.12.62, dispatched 17.12.62. The original color is listed as Old Green with a Black interior. The fitted engine is R9070-9.

Bought the car 04/09/1982 from Andrew P Kachik, El Jebel, Colorado. Car was t obe a driver, but over the years, the car was stripped to bare metal and the last bolt. The tin was good, the car getting only a boot floor and new outer sill under the battery box. The car hasn't turned a wheel under its own power until 02/2010. I just bought new plates and insured the car 05/2010.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
