The first two pictures with the French actor are not of 885006, but of 885005. They are almost certainly from Geneva, March 1961 and may have been taken for Delacroix, but as seen in the stills from the promotional film from Monte Carlo (the next three B&W pics) the Delacroix Monte Carlo show car, 885006 had a black interior, as did 885002 which was LHD at the time, but 885005 had a Beige interior and the interior in those B&W photos from that old magazine for sure is a very light tone, definitely not black. More info is always appreciated, thanks!

The photo of an opalescent bronze coupe is incorrectly posted here. 885006 would have had latch covers on the sides of the bonnet.

Hi, yes, the Paris Show photo is of a later car, colors may be Opalescent Golden Sand / Beige, but the chassis number is bigger than 885020. Anyone know which were the dates for the Paris Show? Or if it's from 1962?

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
