Ebay item 5/28/13
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STUNNING-1964-Series-1-Jaguar-XKE-OTS-Roadster-Green-Bis ...
Car has a buy it now price of $97,500 for 5 days.

Sellers description:
British Racing Green with a Biscuit interior. It's been in the pocession of a single JCNA member for more than 15 years and had a restoration in 1998. It's a Texas car with no signs of rust and is in excellent mechanical condition.

It runs as well as any Series 1 Roadster that we've had with no vibration or pulling and the engine stays nice and cool. It fires right up, idels well when warm and shifts smoothly.

The British Racing Green paint is every bit as nice as it looks in the pics, with just a couple of small "rock-chip" type blemishes. The panel fit is superb with nice even lines all the way around. The doors open and close crisply and solidly. The bonnet closes equally as well. How many E-types have you seen that require two people to close the hood? Well, this one can be done on your own, just ease it down, then push the handles in and turn; EASY! The engine and engine bay look excellent, very clean with not much sign of age or wear and really beautiful valve covers and headers.

Everything appears to work correctly, the speedo, tach, other gauges and switches, choke, lights, etc are all in good working condition. If this car was a recent restoration, it would be at least $30,000 more. This is your chance to buy a fantastic car at a great price.

The Biscuit interior is excellent with no signifiacnt blemishes. The top looks like most of the tops on older restorations, it probably hasn't been up more than a handfull of times, so it has creases in both the canvas and the rear window, but is still very nice. The windows and chrome trim are all excellent with very few blemishes. The rubber is good all around with the consitency of a garage-kept restored car. The wheels are also excellent with no noticeable blemsihes.

Cooper Classics has the privilege of presenting this stunning Series I XKE E Type. The result is a beautiful XKE that is ready to be used and enjoyed. We recently refreshed the restoration in October of 2021, and the car was given a full once over (including a full carburetor rebuild + tune) by a marque specialist to ensure it's ready for its new custodian to use and enjoy. Confirming its investment value, this XKE comes with its British Heritage Trust which affirms it to be a matching numbers car.
