Ebay item 12/7/13

Current bid £30,000, 66 bids 1 day left in auction.
Sellers description:
Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Roadster 1964 LHD for restoration. I fully intended to fully restore this car but 2 years on I am even further away from starting the project hence now offering it for sale. The car is very original and unlike many E-type projects, less the odd small item, largely complete.
The spec is the highly desirable Opalescent Dark Green with Suede Green Interior and, as enthusiasts ae aware, this colour combination was used in the famous E-Type press car '77 RW'. Indeed I had a car restored in this colour combination some years ago and it was spectacular and I regretted selling it. The Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirms the car was built in April 1964 and states the engine number, chassis number, body number and that the first owner lived in New Jersey USA.
Body wise this car requires extensive work, including new sills, floors, doors, bootlid and the bonnet either repaired using the centre section and some of the inner panels or buying complete new. Mechanically the car is completely unknown but the engine does turn. The car also come with a rough but original hardtop.
In addition to the Heritage certificate I have the Certificate of Title from the USA and the European Import document showing the duty paid.
