1964 3.8 Roadster. This car is mostly disassembled. This is a very, very solid 98 percent rust free car. There is surface rust in areas, but no rust outs in the normal areas such as floors and sills. The only thing going against this car is that someone took it apart. It appears to be all there. I am sure there are minor items that may be missing. I am not sure if the seats are series one or two though. The windshield is cracked. I have taken a picture of the Jaguar Heritage certificate. It is all numbers matching. The transmission is disassembled. I was told the engine and rear end were rebuilt, but I would assume that they would need to gone over to confirm and I will not stick my neck out to guarantee this.
This will make a great car to Restore. As you probably know, most of the unrestored E type are very rusty and molested. This one is not. As Mike from Wheeler Dealers would say "it will be worth a suitcase of money" when it is done.
The pictures make the rust look worse than it is. I encourage anybody that wants to come out and take an inventory to do so. The car is 100 miles east on Dallas in Winnsboro, TX 75494.
